Projects
From a patent-pending fintech platform to academic research programs and policy work with international organizations.
BankPulse
BankPulse transforms public regulatory filings into forward-looking measures of bank risk. The engine ingests quarterly call-report data across the U.S. banking system, reconstructs exposures that standard accounting can obscure — including unrealized losses carried at amortized cost — and combines funding-fragility indicators with machine-learning risk scoring to surface institutions under stress. In validation on the 2023 banking turmoil, the framework flags the major failures ahead of time using public data alone.
The platform builds on my academic research on hidden duration losses, bank crash risk, and the decision-usefulness of regulatory disclosures. Contact me for collaboration or licensing inquiries.
